A Keiki Guide to the Hawaiian Islands is a 96-page crowd-funded travel guide for curious children, the first in a series for young explorers. Tasked with crafting a cohesive, culturally respectful design, we developed a playful design system that balanced vibrant storytelling, dense educational content, and the illustrations of Oahu-based Kelsie Dayna to engage and delight young readers.

The launch was a success, with our audience praising its lively visuals and thoughtful design. Following the book’s reception, the authors are now expanding the series to destinations around the world.
